In connection with the new financial market laws, the association launched its continuing training program in October 2019. The program is aimed specifically at wealth and portfolio managers and offers a flexible program with a quality standard (certificate and title) as well as a continuing training certificate. This is based on the validation of educational achievements through credit points.
A network of accredited providers covers a diverse range of educational offerings. The platform also makes it possible to maintain a partnership with Swiss universities and experts. In this way, it builds a bridge between the world of finance and academia.
Qualified managers, wealth and portfolio managers and other employees can easily manage their continuing training and meet the new regulatory requirements.
What the platform offers you
It offers you direct access to the target group of wealth and portfolio managers. An opportunity that no other medium can currently compete with.
Simple administration
The platform is designed to make it easy to manage your training offerings. As soon as you have received your accreditation, you will receive a login to the web portal.
Dedicated office
The SAM Continuing Training Office, your personal contact, will be happy to provide you with further information.
Our Quality Standards
To be able to use the continuing training platform, training providers must meet certain quality requirements.
Definition of a training provider
As a training provider, you must meet all of the following requirements:
- You offer a methodically and didactically structured training program;
- You have an administrative office that serves as a point of contact;
- You can provide evidence of comprehensible quality assurance measures.
Accreditation as a training provider
You can submit your application for accreditation online via the web portal. The Continuing Training Office will decide on your application and you will be informed of the decision by e-mail. Fees are charged for accreditation.
Obligations of training providers
The following obligations apply to training providers accredited by SAM:
- They continuously apply quality assurance measures and keep them up to date in documented form;
- They integrate the latest developments into their training courses so that they reflect the current state of knowledge;
- They guarantee that the participation of our members in their training courses is confirmed.
Requirements for training programs
The training offered is geared towards the needs of the profession and is intended to reflect the latest developments in terms of knowledge and practice. The aim is to continuously develop the professional skills of wealth and portfolio managers and their employees.
In accordance with the continuing training regulations, the form of teaching may vary. The continuing training program follows clearly defined learning objectives in the form of knowledge, skills and competencies.

The Scientific Committee
The continuing training program is overseen by a scientific committee made up of outstanding experts from academia, research and the professional sector.
In particular, the scientific committee monitors the quality and actuality of the continuing training program and is involved in SAM events (annual congress and webinars). It also contributes its network of specialist knowledge to the association.

Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Registrierung individuell ist.
Die Teilnahme am Programm «mit Zertifikat und Titel» richtet sich in erster Linie an Vermögensverwalter und qualifizierte Geschäftsführer. Sie setzt die Erfüllung der im Weiterbildungsreglement Art.4 formulierten Teilnahmebedingungen sowie das Erreichen von 38 Kreditpunkten in einem zweijährigen Zyklus voraus.
Mitarbeiter von Vermögensverwaltern können sich «ohne Zertifikat» anmelden und ihre Bildungsleistungen durch Kreditpunkte validieren und anerkennen lassen. Es gibt keine Teilnahmebedingungen und keine Verpflichtung, 38 Kreditpunkte zu erreichen.
Beide Status im Weiterbildungsprogramm ermöglichen den Erhalt einesWeiterbildungsauszugs(Siehe FAQ -> Attestperioden und Auszüge).
Das Zertifikat und Titel ist ein privates Branchenzertifikat, das vom Berufsverband angeboten wird. Es ist nicht obligatorisch und entspricht einem Qualitätsstandard. Der Titel «Qualified independent wealth manager VSV» ist geschützt.
Das Login zum Webportal erfolgt über Ihr VSV-Login, welches Sie für die VSV-Webseite verwenden (Single-Sign-On).

Der VSV stellt nur für Teilnahmebestätigungen für regulatorische Schulungen aus. Wenn Sie diese innerhalb einer angemessenen Frist von 10 Tagen immer noch nicht erhalten haben, wenden Sie sich bitte an:

Bei Bildungsangeboten von anderen Anbietern, sind diese direkt zu kontaktieren.
Grundsätzlich werden die Bildungsleistungen im Weiterbildungsauszug ausgewiesen (siehe FAQ -> Wie erhalte ich meinen Weiterbildungsauszug?)

- Aktualisierter Lebenslauf;
- Dokument, das eine mindestens fünfjährige Berufserfahrung als Vermögensverwalter für Dritte belegt;
- Senden Sie anschliessend eine E-Mail an die folgende Adresse, um Ihre Statusänderung zu beantragen: training(at)vsv-asg.ch.
Achtung: Mit der Statusänderung beginnen Sie eine neue zweijährige Attestperiode mit 0 Kreditpunkten. Die Kreditpunkte, die Ihre zuvor absolvierten Bildungsleistungen bestätigen, sind auf Ihrem Weiterbildungsauszug vermerkt und in der Grafik von Ihrem Benutzerprofil abrufbar. Ein Zertifikat wird nur an Teilnehmer des Weiterbildungsprogramms (mit Zertifikat und Titel) ausgestellt.
Benutzerhandbuch 10.2 Zertifikat
Die Cross-Border-Plattform ist eine E-Learning-Plattform des VSV, auf welcher Ländertest absolviert werden können. Die Ländertests sind auf der Weiterbildungsplattform als Bildungsangebot akkreditiert.
Der Zugang zu den Länderkatalogen wird Aktivmitgliedern zudem der Webseite (Login notwendig) kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt.

SAQ-Stunden werden auf dem Bildungsangebot unter «andere Punkte» ausgewiesen. Es wird jedoch empfohlen, dies auf dem Informationslink des Bildungsanbieters zu überprüfen.
