As the association (SAM/VSV/ASG) has already pointed out, the Federal Council has decided that the new transparency register Act as well the revised AML Act will entry into force on 1st October 2026 (with transitional legal provisions).

On the other hand, SAM recently liaised with the Federal Department of Justice and Police (FDJP) and spoke out in the media for an assessment to check the cybersecurity of the register, in particular after the event in Liechtenstein on late July 2026 where hackers stole similar data on thousands of people. In that respect, SAM asked the deadline of 1st October to be pause or postponed.

That being said, even if the deadline could be uncertain (also the transparency register Act includes transitional provisions), the content of your obligations is known and we would you like to provide you with partical informations on the implementation of these new acts :
