The speakers, Dr. Marcial Messmer and Dr. Ulrich Carl, bring a wealth of experience as founders of mu Capital Management, an investment boutique that specializes in stock selection using a combination of machine learning and traditional systematic approaches. Notably, Dr. Marcial Messmer has been at the forefront of applying machine learning to stock selection problems, having already explored this topic in his doctoral thesis over a decade ago.
