Facultative affiliation

Active members under state supervision are already subject to a supervisory authority and are therefore not obligated to additionally affiliate themselves to a self-regulatory organization (SRO), such the SAAM's SRO.

By joining the SAAM, members under state supervision show their solidarity to the industry of independent asset managers and thereby actively support the trade association.
