Disciplinary Committee

The SAAM Disciplinary Committee is an Association body. Its acts and decisions are generally limited to the internal Association matters and are executed independently of public proceedings. The Disciplinary Committee invokes the Articles of Association, Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct and other internal rules, as long as proceedings according to the rules of the Board of Directors of the Self-regulatory Body (SRO DoB) need not be applied.

In its function, the Disciplinary Committee judges:

• Disputes between SAAM members or between SAAM bodies
• Disputes between the SAAM and its members, as long as it involved matters concerning the Association
• Upon request by the SRO Board of Directors, infractions of the Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct by SAAM members

The SAAM Disciplinary Committee is elected by the Members' Meeting. Every member who is not simultaneously an auditor, Board member or a member of the SRO Board of Directors, can be elected to the Disciplinary Committee.
