Active members with SRO affiliation

Accepted as active members with SRO affilation are natural and legal persons as well as private companies which:

• are active in asset management as their primary occupation;
• possess the required professional qualifications;
• are of good character and reputation;
• have a minimum of five years experience in managing assets for third parties;
• are resident or domiciled in Switzerland;
• are recorded in the commercial register;
• have the infrastructure needed for the provision of independent advisory and asset management services;
• have recognized the applicable edition of the Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct of Independent Asset Managers, and who through internal rules and organizational structure have assured compliance with the AMLA and Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct of Independent Asset Managers;
• are attested by periodic reports by an SAAM approved auditor, continuously comply with the Code of Ethics and Professional Concuct of Independent Asset Managers.

Members, which are legal persons or partnerships, shall designate a representative who shall be responsible for compliance with all requirements excluding those of residence and domicile.
