Associations

National umbrella associations
The SAAM is a member of the following national umbrella associations:

• Schweizerischer Gewerbeverband (SGV)
• Schweizerischer Verband der Freien Berufe (SVFB)

Both associations primarily unite small and medium-sized businesses within their memberships (SMB). Since the independent asset management sector also extensively consists of SMB's, a synergy of interest arises from this cooperation which can be mutually advantageous.

The SAAM is convinced that the needs of SMB's in the asset management can be effectively represented in interconnection with these umbrella associations.

 

International cooperation

• Verband unabhängiger Vermögensverwalter Deutschland e.V. 
• Verein unabhängiger Vermögensverwalter in Liechtenstein (VuVL)

The SAAM also represents the interests of Swiss independent asset managers beyond the national borders. It is therefore important for the association to maintain an active exchange of experiences with corresponding foreign organizations.

Cantonal cooperation

The SAAM is involved in this cantonal umbrella association that is comprised of six associations from Ticino, all of which represent the interests of financial intermediaries.
