Member education and training

Mandate for member education through the AMLA and the Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct

The Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA) and the Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct oblige the active members of the SAAM and their employees to continuous education and training in all areas of their professional activity through participation in educational and training seminars as well as self-study (see Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct, Article 5, Section 14).

To support the members with education and training, the SAAM offers the following seminars:

• Seminars in the areas of prevention of money laundering and the SAAM Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct
• Seminars on topics from the fields of finance, taxation and business
• Seminars for the training of auditors in the area of combating money laundering and the SAAM Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct, as well as the reviewing of SAAM members within the scope of an audit
