Philosophy of SAAM membership


Associated with the SAAM are independent asset managers who oblige themselves to the conducting of professional, serious and high-quality asset management and to the liberal concept of self-regulation. Only those who possess the technical qualifications, a good reputation and sufficient experience in asset management for third parties can become active members of the SAAM.

  • The SAAM actively represents the interests of its members in politics and business and is strongly dedicated to the concerns of the industry.
  • SAAM members profit from a top-range offer of education and training, usually at preferential conditions, that are precisely tailored to the needs of independent asset managers.
  • As a member you can participate in the SAAM Competence Centre for independent asset management and can obtain valuable support and advice.
  • As an SAAM member affiliated with the SRO (self-regulatory body), in addition to the customers AMLA training offer, you also receive competent advisement services that can support you with regulatory questions.
  • SAAM members receive the quarterly published trade journal for independent asset management, "denaris", sent to them free of charge and can also use this platform for their own publications.
