Private capital managed worldwide
The assets of high net worth individuals managed worldwide are growing by an average of 8% each year. Considered high net work individuals are people who have at least one million US dollars in financial assets (not counting real estate in which they reside). The total capital of all these individuals in 2005 amounted to 33.3 billion USD. It is estimated that this capital will grow to around 44.6 billion dollars by 2010.
The world's biggest market for privately managed capital is North America. Europe comes in second place, followed by the Asia-Pacific economic zone.
