The SAAM offers support and assistance if you have problems with your asset manager.

Assessment and consultation
The services offered by the SAAM for investors include the referral of experts and legal consultants. The SAAM also offers the option of activating an arbitration panel, which can be used by anyone to settle disputes between investors and asset managers.

If your asset manager is an SAAM member, then the SAAM will carry out an internal Association investigation upon suspicion of an infraction of the Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct. This investigation, however, does not replace a civil liability proceedings, such as suits for compensation for losses from asset management.
