Our Quality Standards

To be able to use the continuing training platform, training providers must meet certain quality requirements.

Definition of a training provider

As a training provider, you must meet all of the following requirements:

• You offer a methodically and didactically structured training program;
• You have an administrative office that serves as a point of contact;
• You can provide evidence of comprehensible quality assurance measures.

Accreditation as a training provider 

You can submit your application for accreditation online via the web portal. The Continuing Training Office will decide on your application and you will be informed of the decision by e-mail. Fees are charged for accreditation.

Obligations of training providers

The following obligations apply to training providers accredited by SAM:

• They continuously apply quality assurance measures and keep them up to date in documented form; 
• They integrate the latest developments into their training courses so that they reflect the current state of knowledge;
• They guarantee that the participation of our members in their training courses is confirmed.

Requirements for training programs

The training offered is geared towards the needs of the profession and is intended to reflect the latest developments in terms of knowledge and practice. The aim is to continuously develop the professional skills of wealth and portfolio managers and their employees.

In accordance with the continuing training regulations, the form of teaching may vary. The continuing training program follows clearly defined learning objectives in the form of knowledge, skills and competencies.
